Epson SureColor SC-T7730DL is a 44-inch large-format technical inkjet printer with print-only hardware and dual-roll media handling. Printing comes from a PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead with 9,600 nozzles. One head carries 400 nozzles across each of its 24 channels. The six-colour UltraChrome XD3 pigment ink set uses photo black, matte black, cyan, magenta, yellow, and red. For this DL model, 1,600 ml ink packs feed the system.

Maximum print resolution reaches 2400 x 1200 dpi, while the minimum ink droplet volume is 3.5 pl. For technical drawings, line accuracy is specified at plus or minus 0.1% or 0.26 mm. Minimum line width is 0.08 mm. A CAD A1 landscape sheet on plain paper takes about 16 seconds in draft mode. A0 line drawings take about 28 seconds at 300 x 600 dpi.

Media handling uses two automatic roll feeds with top and front loading, so the printer can move between loaded rolls without manual roll replacement. Roll paper and cut sheets accept thicknesses from 0.07 mm to 0.8 mm. Poster board uses a thicker range, up to 1.5 mm. Borderless output can cover the full 44-inch print width. The large chassis keeps loading, ink replacement, and printed output at the front.

A direct computer connection uses USB 3.0, while wired networking runs through Gigabit Ethernet. Wireless printing can use Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n or Wi-Fi Direct. A USB host port handles direct printing from PDF, TIFF, JPEG, HP-GL/2, and HP RTL files, while internal memory is 4 GB with an optional 960 GB SSD for job handling. Power consumption is about 70 W during operation; the body measures approximately 1,848 x 829 x 975 mm and weighs about 165 kg.
